NTT volunteers are carrying out many activities in Peru related to recycling.
Teaching is the best way to learn, that is why our NTT Data volunteers in Peru have been learning how to correctly separate waste in recent times. Activities that have been carried out in recent months with different slogans such as ‘Recycle to help’ or ‘Recycle to transform’.
Correct signposting of different types of waste, such as those centred on paper. There, employees are trained to deposit this waste in the designated containers, which allows it to be subsequently handed over to an organisation, which will be responsible for selling it, generating income and contributing to the circular economy, environmental sustainability and the comprehensive rehabilitation of children.
The correct segregation of electrical and electronic equipment has also allowed for its subsequent transfer to a recovery plant, where it is determined which materials can be recycled and which must be disposed of properly.
This type of initiative shows us that NTT Data Peru volunteers have a great commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management, both organic and technological.
