On December 2, a group of colleagues from the Seville office had the opportunity to share an unforgettable experience with a group of elderly people from the Manuel Ridruejo Muñoz Residence thanks to the initiative "My grandfather is the cane", organized by the 'Adopt a grandfather' program.

An afternoon in which the objective was for these elderly people to feel listened to, accompanied and loved... and which in reality turned out to be a great gift for us.
To the rhythm of Christmas carols and the favorite music of some of them, we shared conversations in which they regaled us with their wisdom and experience. Thus, we were able to learn with Concha, Manuel, Juani, Maria, Pili and the rest of our grandparents that before Saturday afternoons were reserved for dancing in the best company, that the Triana neighborhood is much Triana, that they are all great domino players... In addition, we walked through almost a century of history of the Citroen Bar and they convinced us that there have been no better soccer players than Kubala and Messi.
At the same time we learned that there are pains in the soul that the passage of time cannot cure, but also the value of a smile in the worst moment and the precious treasure of sharing a little bit of our life with people who need it. At the farewell (how short it was!) they kept thanking us emotionally for our time, but we are the ones who are indebted to them. Thank you!
